A friend of mine (running XP) has problems when viewing his monitor,his
pages are too big for his screen.He has a 17" LCD screen.Any way to fit all
pages into screen.We are both new to Computers and need help.

Right click anywhere in a blank area on the desktop (main screen).

Select - Properties

In the screen that popped up, go to the Settings Tab

Set your resolution to 1280 x1024

While you're at it, hit the "Advanced" button and go to the monitor tab.

Your refresh rate should be 60 and if it's different, check with the
manufacturer.

Again, right click on the desktop again - properties

Appearance Tab

Effects

Where is says, blah blah edge of screen fonts, select "Clear Type"

Hit Okay - This will make your type look better.
