Hello,

I was wondering if there is a screen saver that would indicate how many
emails I have on my POP server. In other words, a screen saver that
would "read" my POP server and post the number of e-mails I have
waiting.

Thanks!

Perhaps 'alt.binaries.screen-savers' may be of some assistance.

Hi:

There is a E-mail auto-checker that also has a screen saver.

It is called Poppy:
A small e-mail notification program that supports multiple POP3 accounts.
Advanced features such as a friends list, view e-mail headers, delete e-mail
message, anti-SPAM DNS blacklist etc. are also supported.

You need poppy installed to use the add-on SCREEN SAVER portion.

Get them both here (FREE of course):
http://www.yoursurfice.com/Content/Home/Home.htm

hope this helps; I use both of them together and it is wonderful (poppy also
has a setting to toggle ON the scroll-lock key when a new message is
received).

Look for a program called Eprompter. Reads, POP and other web based
emails. Has a screensaver, address book and you can reply also.

I haved used it and it worked some month ago.

Ok thanks. It looks like it might be worth giving a try as a
replacement for Magic Mail Monitor and FreePops.
