My screen saver only stays on for 10 mins then a small white box appears on
the task bar and seems to scan across the task bar causing the screen saver
to stop and go back to desk top the the process starts over again.Screen
saver keeps going on and off.

Do some clean boot troubleshooting to see what is causing the problem.
