Maybe you have a policy setting against using the screen savers.

Download and run the file. If it doesn't apply, it won't hurt anything.

I am having the same problem. I just purchased a new system running XP
professional with SP2 and none of my screen savers are working. I was using
mirosoft plus and had the aquarium theme set but nothing happened, I then
decided to purchase Plus Superpack to see if a later version would solve the
problem but my screen savers still do not work correctly. If you come across
a solution to this problem please HELP !
