Screen Saver Policy

Hi - We are looking into setting a screen saver policy for
just laptop users, where we would set it to kick after a
period of time, make it password protected, and maybe hide
the screen saver tab.

We have done that before on a machine by machine basis.
(Windows 2000 environment) using the MMC to set the policy
and have distributed other polices using the Netlogon
shares so they get applied as users log in.

The question we have this time is that this screen saver
policy is not intended for everyone, just laptop users.

Is there a way we can target the distribution of this just
to those users via a software distribution package or
other means?

Thanks for any help in advance.

You have probably found where to set this in group policy
(same as local GPO).
To limit access either create a new OU for laptops and
apply the GPO there or on the GPO security options, limit
the apply right to only the required recipients.
