Hi,
I have a domain policy on my Win2K network. It prevents users from right
clicking the desktop and getting at their display settings. It also sets up
a screen saver to activate after 10 minutes.
I recently installed 15 new XP machines which run lab test software. When I
logged them into the domain the policy was applied. The screen saver is a
nightmare on these machines and I can't turn it off. I tried editing every
instance of ScreenSaveActive and Timeout in each machine's registry setting
them to zero. This didn't seem to help. I also tried to set the timeout
value to zero in the policy, however, the screen saver still comes on. Can
someone offer a suggestion as to how I can stop the screen savers from
coming on these machines? Thanks.
