Screen Saver GPO

William Luiz

I'm using a policy that enable screen saver on desktops. I
enable the policy and configure the time in seconds (300)
to block the workstations.
Everything is working fine, but in some machines the
policy works in one minute (not in five), no matter the
time in policy.

What can I do?

Hi William-

Are these machines in the same location in the directory? To verify that
there are no surprises on that front, you can run GPRESULT /V and see what
policies are applying, and from where.

If that checks out, it might be a good idea to enable USERENV logging and
login as one of the affected users. The USERENV log will reveal if there
are problems while 'pulling' that policy down to the local machine.

The domain is the same but exists diferents OU. There are
no correlation about this or that OU. The problem happens
in more than one OU.
