Screen redraw problems

I appear to be having problems with the screen not
redrawing correctly, and leaving black rectangles dotted
across the screen. The rectangles disappear when the
program is closed, only to come back again at some later
time.

Sometimes, rather than black rectangles, a part of the
previous screen is left instead.

Any suggestions?

Look for an updated video card driver.
