screen orientation change works not properly

Hi,
I'm working on application for Symbol MC9090 model handheld scanner
(CF 2.0, Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Device). I need to turn screen
orientation to Lanscape. I'm doing that setting
SystemSettings.ScreenOrientation. After that screen goes to Lanscape
for second and then comes back to Portrait.
I tried to do the same through Settings --> System --> Screen. But it
does the same.
My question is: Is there some work around to overcome that ?

All I can think of is their might be an application that sets the screen back
to portait as this is not OS specific. You should be able to change to
landscape if you want to.

Try using CE Process Explorer to kill all apps running (apps not sys
processes) and try it again.
