Does anyone know of any ENTIRE screen magnifier freeware or know if it is possible to adjust the embedded program in XP home to show thw whole screen and not just a portion of it? Either a reply here or by email would be greatly appreciated!

Think this through. If you magnify and show the whole screen...where are
you planning to display it? If you have a problem reading the display,
reduce the size or increase the fonts.

Yo! Think this through back at 'ya...or maybe it's late and you are tired:::I want something that will do the same thing as a clip-on to the monitor magnifier. Now if the clip-on shows the whole display, I'm sure there is some bright hacker out there that has written a program to do the same thing...so thanks for nothing...sarcasm I DON'T NEED!

I apologize if I misunderstood the request. I merely wanted to point out
that the screen can't be magnified any larger than the viewable size of the
monitor. I've looked for something that would act as an enlarged scrollable
window (or anything else) for a friend who is somewhat vision impaired and
have yet to find anything useful. You're right, I am tired, and if my
response was a bit harsh please forgive me. I've been dealing with some
fairly strange problems here today and sometimes I get a little frustrated.
If you read a few posts I think you'll see what I mean. I also have sarcasm
hardwired into my brain, so it takes a surfeit of concentration to bypass
it.

BC,
This is a wonderful line! I hope you won't mind if I steal it to inject into
my own conversation at an appropriate moment.

Thanks,
John
