My brother was messing with out computer so that the computer was hooked up
to our projector instead of the actual screen, however now, he is unable to
get the computer to recognize the monitor. It says that there is no screen
input whenever he tries to turn it on. Please help.

Type of computer? (Laptop maybe?)
How was it hooked to the projector?
Does the screen come on for a bit if you power off the computer, hook up the
monitor and turn it back on?

If the projector was a SVideo out selection - then you just need to change
the output settings in your driver - just like you did to get it to show.

If on a laptop - likely a key combination (like Fn+F8..)
