Screen going black...

Hello,

On an ELITE A530 laptop where I just installed WIN2000PRO
(incl SP4), after the Win startup banner, the screen
becomes black, while "behind" seems to be coming the logon
screen. No way to return to a visible normal screen.

Any idea ?

Try F8 at startup and "Enable VGA Mode" and set the graphics adapter to a
lower resolution and or frequency.
