Screen and Display Problems! Help please!

Whenever I boot up, the screen has these wierd stripes on them. Plus, the
screen is colored wrong and the screen resolution is wrong too. I've tried
restarting, and using System Restore, no effect.

And whenever I try to change the screen resolution in the Display, it
doesn't work. I can move the bar, but the settings never take effect.

I'm using Windows XP Professional.
I'm using a Toshiba Tecra M2 laptop. With NVidia GeForce 5200.

P.S. I suspect it has to do with the drivers.

Any help, advice, or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

I tend to agree with you.
Do you have the driver disk?
Have you tried Windows update and/or NVidia's website for updated drivers?

Hi Brian,

Test your setup with another monitor. From there, test your setup with
another graphics card. Good luck and keep us posted!
