I have MS Antispyware set for scheduled scans. It ran
scheduled scans for about a month, but doesn't run them
anymore.

I don't have an answer for you. They've continued to run for me, although
not always at the predicted/intended time!

You might want to download and upgrade to the new .509 build--via
http://www.microsoft.com/spyware
