Scheduling Tasks not working...

I have scheduled a task that should run at 7:30am every
morning to make a backup of my "system state." However,
for some reason it never runs... I believe I've set
everythinkg up appropriately, but so far no luck. Anyone
have an idea how to make this work??

Have you set a particular user permission on you task?

I have created the task as myself (admin permissions),
added a password and I assumed that it would inherit my
permissions. Is that correct?

To verufy if it comes from a security issue, try running
your task without any passord and everyone users.

Serge, I can MANUALLY run the system state backup either
with or without a password, but I can't get it to run as
an automated task. It just never starts on its own...

Hi,

Did you ever solve the problem? I have same problem. Norton, disk
cleanup and windows update don't run in scheduled tasks since I did
asystem restore. It gives message "incorrect user or password"

I added password, etc. to no avail.
