Scheduled Tasks - User logon type.

I have had scheduled tasks that have been running for months on a machine
that is part of a domain. Domain policies have changed where my password now
expires more often and I did not want to have to change the password on all
the "tasks" each time. It appears the password change to not populate into
the scheduled tasks.

I created a "local" user with a password and assigned it to the "User" group
and later to the "Administrator" group. Any attempt for the task to run
fails with the following event - "The user has not been granted the requested
logon type at this machine".

Now what?

Try this for your new account:
Local Computer Policy / Computer Configuration / Windows Settings /
Security Settings / Local Policy / User Rights / Logon as a batch job.

It will not let that policy can be changed. It appears to be a group policy
that was pushed from the domain as the icons are different.
