Scheduled Task fails

Dean

The Task Scheduler returns an error when I click finish.
The error says, "The new task has been created, but may
not run because the account information could not be
set. The specific error is: 0x8007007a: The data area
passed to a system call is too small". This is the error
I receive when going through Accessories and using the
wizard for Add A Scheduled task. I first noticed the
problem scheduling my McFee Virus Scan to run as a
scheduled task. McFee told me to download the Hot Fix
from Microsoft for Article Q812400. However, this did
not resolve the problem. Does anyone else know what I
can try.

Hi there,

Scheduled Tasks - Not Running

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\S-1-5-18 and delete the files in
there.
Scheduled Tasks will recreate the files needed.

Note: This folder is hidden by default. Go to Start/Run
and type in: control folders. View: Show hidden files and
folders.

HTH, Happy Holidays!!
