Is it possible to schedule or arrange for an automatic deletion of cookies,
say daily or weekly? I have scheduled Temp Inter Files clean up, but this
does not delete the cookies I find in browser properties.

I question your wisdom in doing so. Those cookies will be recreated as soon
as you visit the same websites, and new cookies will be created as you
browse other websites, so you've accomplished nothing. A much wiser course
of action is to manage your cookies, so you keep the ones that are useful
and lose the ones that aren't. I personally find IE6's cookie management
tools very handy. If you want more flexibility there are thousands of free
cookie managers available on the web. The antivirus, anti-malware and/or
firewall software you're already running (hopefully) probably has cookie
management functions.

Nonetheless, if you want to be with the 'bury my head in the sand' crowd you
can write a batch file to delete cookies and then schedule the batch, or you
can probably find a free cookie manager program that can delete cookies on
schedule.

This particular computer is used as in investigative tool. The same websites
are rarely revisited, and any of significance are transferred to a data
computer and held in various media. We generally delete cookies on this
machine daily, but from time to time this step is forgotten and the cookie
build up is tremendous. Yes, we want to be members of the "heads buried in
the sand" as almost all our data is classified to our degree and demand of
operation. I shall try the batch file.
