schedule a task without using the wizard?

I use XP Home. Schedule task wizard hangs when I click next. Is there a way
I can schedule a task without using the wizard?

schtasks

at.exe is a WinNT legacy program that has been superseded
by schtasks.exe which is much more powerful.

Find out what is causing this hang and then fix/repair the problem.
A good starting point is [ sfc /scannow -- sfc /purgecache ]
