SCF /Scannow asks for XP Pro CD2

I am having problems with my XP Pro system that I thought I might fix with
SCF. Through most of SCF's progress bar, it asks for XP Pro CD1 but near
the end, it asks for SP Pro CD2. I purchased the XP Pro upgrade when it
first came out and it has only one disk.

Is there a CD2 and if so, how can I get the files SCF needs without buying a
full XP Pro especially since Vista is out now and investing in another XP
Pro doesn't make sense. Neither does spending nearly $300 for a Vista
upgrade.

That link was last updated in August 2004. The situation changed with
SP2. I think you need a slipstreamed CD conbining the original Windows
XP CD with the SP2 update but in this case the OP has an Upgrade CD so
I am not sure how the new situation might apply?

I slipstreamed SP2 and an upgrade version of XP home onto one CD nicely.
I also have slipstreamed an OEM version of XP with SP2.....
so it should work

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.

I tried everything at http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html and the
problem still exists.

I have the SP2 disk and an XP Pro disk and will try a slipstream. However,
I'm not optimistic because of the request for XP PRO CD2. I have only 1 XP
Pro CD and it is not labeled disk 1. From that I assume there is only 1
disk and not 2 and that I did not misplace my disk 2.
