Sceen Saver Help???

Help, I'm running XP for about a year now on a P-4 2.4, every thing looks
great till
now I can't get my screen saver to come on, in Display Properties everything
looks okay but it will not start.
 
Is it that you can't get a SPECIFIC screensaver to run, or that you can't
get ANY screen saver to run?
 
Any screen saver that came with XP, I have not installed any new software
but two weeks ago I added a USB hub and screen saver did work last week and
the start of this week.
