SCECLI event 1202 0x534

We have a domain controller running W2k, Sp4 using the
default Domain Controller policy and a different one for
all the workstations.

We have followed the directions in KB 324383 for the 0x534
mapping problem. When we run the "find /i" on
Winlogon.log it returns the following
Cannot find Power users
Warning 3 system cannot find the path specified
Warning 2 system cannot find the file specified.

Neither GPO has power user in any of the user rights, and
there are no entries in the restricted groups.

There are populated power user groups on the workstations,
these are need to run Intuit Quickbooks 2004.

Any help would be appreciated.

Create a null Power Users group in your Active Directory. Since Power Users
is lost on a DC after promotion, any GPO that contains it may not be
processed if there is a group that does not translated to a SID.

Greate the group like you normally would, just don't add any users to it.

There is no need to create the group in AD, just type the group into the
Restricted Groups field when it prompts you for the group name.
