Im new at this so please, Be patient.I have a HP 7110 all
in one and for weeks now i have been trying to scan my
dayly reports documant then send it to, for example
(excel) and be able to edit it?

I am pretty sure you're not going to be able to do that.
scanners don't scan in spredsheet format. they do jpeg,
bitmap, gif ect. which are pictures. and will not be
editable in excel. you need to get an electronic copy of
your daily reports. you can do something with that.

If you have OCR software, you can scan the document into a .txt file and
import it into Excel. Depending on the layout of the report however,
you may have to massage the .txt file significantly (with tabs or
commas) to make it look right when imported to Excel. It might be more
trouble then it's worth.

And some OCR software will save your file in a version of excel.
