Scanning 35mm panoramas on Nikon LS-4000ED

Hello all,

I wonder if it is possible to scan frames longer than standard 24x34mm
size, say 24x56mm panoramas, on my Nikon LS4000 ED? If yes, how do I
achieve it?

I have standard holders that came with the scanner: MA-20 single slide
mount, SA-21 frame film strip feeder, and FH-3 strip film holder.

Thank you in advance any info,
Bernard

Most 35mm scanners are set up only to scan 24mm + a little bit x 36mm +
a little bit (not sure of the exact settings). To scan panoramas you
need a scanner capable of scanning large format. A Nikon 9000, Minolta
Scan Multi, or even some of the later Epson Photo flat beds (the V700
Photo is quite good).
