Scanned pictures get a bluish background when printed

Hello,

I hope this is not too off-topic.
When I scan a page of text and I print it afterwards, then the background of
the scanned area is bluish.
Is there anything that I can do to avoid this?

This has nothing to do with your operating system, but is a function of
the interaction between your scanner and your printer. Since you didn't
tell us the make/model of either of these devices, I can't even guess
at the problem. Suggest you look in the tech support or user forums for
the scanner and/or printer devices.
