Scan to Word 2007

Why does word not show as a option to "scan to" after upgrading to 2007? OCR
software is loaded but is not accessable now.

Most likely your OCR software checks for what programs it can send to, only
at the time you install the OCR. Now you've got a new Word program, but the
old one that the OCR knew about is gone.

Try reinstalling the OCR program to see if it will locate Word. If not, ask
the OCR manufacturer how to get it to recognize the new Word.

It's less convenient, but you can probably tell the OCR program to save
recognized text to a .doc file, and then open that in Word as a separate
step.
