Scan Letterhead and save as back ground for email

I would like to be able to use my letterhead when I send out certain e mails.
I am hoping to scan my letterhead to my computer and save it as a template
(back ground) that I could copy and paste word documents to. Then send it as
an email that the receipent would be able to print and it would match the
pages that I have mailed to them.
Any help would be appreciated

I think you want to use stationery for that, not a template.
