How can I implement virus scanning on files uploaded via my asp.net page?

If I'm not mistaken most virus scanner offers "scanning when file closing"
type of options?

So the solution is as easy as just installing one of the major brands of
antivirus software. They'll do their job when you're saving them on disk.
