scan doument into three columns columns

How to scan a doument into newsletter (3) columns in word. (word 2003)
 
If it isn't already a 3-column document, then scan it with OCR,
proofread it, and apply Word's Columns feature to the text.

If it _is_ a 3-column document, then maybe your OCR program can
reproduce the columns, maybe not.
