What do you mean by "scan a document"?

I mean open the local scanner interface and acquire the document from the
client computer using internet explorer or firefox, maybe using a OCX
component or another NET component.
someone told me that facebook has a way to has access to your webcam and
take a picture something like that.

You need an OCX for that, I do not know of any though.

This question is not related to C# you might get a better answer in
another group
