SCAM

Whats with Microsoft ??? Are they trying to pull a big
scam of some type ??? They offer to give this below

Okay i apply for it and waited for over a month with
nothing in return ... Then i call Microsoft ... Well i
was then told that Microsoft doesn't have any info code
number that Microsoft send to my email address ... There
nothing in there system with my code numbers ... Okay i
then had then on the phone re-order this product above
and was told it would take 3 to 10 business days for it
to arrive ... Well guess what its now way over the days
they say it will take .... SO WHATS GOING ON
MICROSOFT ??? SCAM OR WHAT ??? I BET OTHERS HAVE THE SAME
PROBLEM ....

I got mine last week. It took a long time. About 2 months from the time I
ordered it if memory serves. It even took a couple of weeks after I got the
"it's in the mail" email.

If you consider the volume involved with an International no cost and free
shipping offer covering a whole spread of operating systems from Microsoft
it's hardly a wonder that there would be some confusion.

Comes with a free year of antivirus and firewall from eTrust too.

If you're unhappy you could always ask for your money back. ;-)

As everybody else has said you'll get it you need to be patient.
But I hope you don't think your talking directly to Microsoft by posting to
this newsgroup because your not. We are all here of our own free will to try
to help solve problems and that's about it.

Took less than two weeks in Australia (made family get it too - so 4 copies arrived in just under two weeks). It arrived in a post office prepaid envelope (a retail product usually) so they must have employed casuals to stuff envelopes as they obviousy weren't using their inhouse facilities..

There's no scam. I ordered it, and my copy finally arrived a few
days ago. It took a long time, much more than 3-10 business days,
but it arrived.

As others have said it has been arriving in around 3 weeks for most
people.

However....How can something that is totally "FREE" be a scam???

Exactly, BTW, would you like to help me recover several million dollars
from a Nigerian bank account? We can split the money, all you need do
is invest a few thousand to bribe officials and..... <- now, THAT'S a
scam!
