How do you change the default theme in Outlook 2007? I have found a way to
change the default in Word and Excel but can't in outlook. Also, when I do
change the theme in a message, if I save the message, when I reopen it, it
defaults back to the office theme. Why doesn't the theme save with the
messsage? Is that another "security" issue? Thanks!

go to tools, options, mail format, stationery to change the theme. the
theme you choose should save with the message - I don't believe it’s due to
security though. It's more likely a bug of some sort.

Thanks, but you can't change themes in mail format. The "theme" there is for
stationery themes. I'm talking about the color theme that you change on the
main menu under options - it's the first tool box on the left. You can change
colors, fonts and effects but as soon as you close the message and reopen it,
it defaults back to the office theme. It won't even save it in the message
that was created.
