Hi All,

I use W2k Pro SP4, with all patches installed, and I have a problem when
I restart the computer.

Once I select 'Shutdown/Restart' I will see the 'Saving your settings'
dialog. The problem is that sometimes the shutdown will not progress
past this dialog. I can come back to the computer 30 minutes later and
the same dialog is on the screen. The computer does not seem to be
locked up because the blue progress indicator is still moving.

The only thing I can do at this point is hit the 'Reset' button on the
computer. I seem to remember a setting somewhere that I can set a
timeout value for this but of course now that I need it I can't remember
where it is.

Can someone please refresh my memory?

Thanks for any help,

Charles
