Saving Windows Updates to File

Hi Phil,

Sure there is, but you download directly from the catalog rather than trying
to save the one's you are downloading and autoinstalling (which you may find
in a WUTemp folder). The catalog option should be in the left column of the
update site, if you don't see it click personalize and add it.

After downloading updates via the "Windows Update" tool - is there a way to
drop all the updates to a file that can then be copied to other computers
(via CD say) that don't have a high-bandwidth connection?

The initial downloads are of .exe files to the Temporary Internet Files
folder. So if you initially empty that (for convenience) then just as
you come to the installation, you can copy them out to somewhere safe
where they will not get deleted ether after install or in the ordinary
course of tidying the folder
