saving user IDs and passwords

If somebody can help me get IE 6.0 to remember user IDs
and passwords I would greatly appreciate it. I get a
prompt asking if I want IE to remember them and I tell
it "yes". But the next time I go into that site and start
typing, it doesn't remember anything. Any help would be
appreciated.
 
First, make sure that "Protected Storage" service is running. Click Start /
Run / Services.msc
If it is already ON, try this:

Your Outlook Express Password Is Not Retained in Windows 2000 or XP

Im also seeing this.. but only on XP..
