Hi:

I'm using Microsoft Office 2000 professional edition.
I'm trying to save to my cdrw drive. Every time I try to
do this, the prompt comes up read only. I change the
name and it stills says the folder is a read only
folder. So, I tried to make a new folder, but it denied
my access! Could someone please help me with this.

Thank You in advance

Trevor

How are you trying to save it to a cdrw? What burning program are you using?
The built in xp cd burning program does not do packet writing on cdrw
disks(turns the cd into a giant floppy disk). You need some third party
software for that if thats what your looking for.

Do not attempt to save to removable media from within any Microsoft Office
application.
Save to your hard drive and copy to your CD drive. If you are using CD-R,
the folders and files will by definition be read only.

Like:
Nero IN-CD (??)
or
Roxio DirectCD (EZ CD Creator 5 or lower) Drag to Disk
(EZ CD & DVD Creator 6 or greater).
