Saving to a DV tape?

I'm trying to save my movie file back to my digital
camera. I've done this before successfully, so I think I
know what I'm doing. However, this time when I try to
save the movie, I keep getting the messge that my movie
was not saved to the DV tape. I am pretty sure that my
camera is connected properly because I can still capture
video from it. I thought I possibly had a corrupt file,
but when I tried to save the movie to a CD, it worked
perfectly.

Any ideas?
 
The result is always unusable - the image is intermitent off & on.
What do I need to do to correct this fault?
