Saving SP2 pack which I downloaded from updates

I am user of Preloaded window XP home edition. Now I had downloaded SP2 from
window updates. If I format Hard disc will i be able to get SP2 automatically
or I have to down load again. Also suggest How I can make Soft copy of (CD)
of down loaded SP 2 and other updates so that I can load then after
formatting hard disc.
Kindly help me.

Updates installs only the required files for SP2 so you can not save this
version.

Look for the network install version of SP2 and you can save this on CD.

Any of the updates can be downloaded and burned to CD. SP2 is a large
download 260+ MB so unless you have broadband it's not practical. You can
order the SP2 CD from MS. To download the updates use the windows update
catalog.

On CD, it is a hard copy. Rock provided a link for gaining a CD with SP2
for XP.
