saving settings/bookmarks address book

Hi Ron,
we wrote yesterday about saving my settings. Files I already burned on cd a
couple of days ago in prepartation of reinstalling windows. However when
going into Files and Settings Transfer Wizard in Windows XP to save settings
I can't seem to save settings in Thunderbird, my email client and Firefox, my
browser. I thought of trying to export my bookmarks from firefox to IE, and
export address book from T-bird to outlook, but I am not sure how to do this.
I consulted mozilla help and mozilla online help forum, but didn't really
understand the responses I got about saving my settings. You may not be able
to help either since you deal with microsoft. I could perhaps import from MS
instead of export from mozilla? Can you help? Peggy

yes, I tried to import in IE from firefox default/profile/bookmarks.html and
got an error message. Also you didn't mention what to do with address book in
T-bird. I don't see any way to export bookmarks in Firefox. am trying to save
bookmarks all in one folder in my documents. thanks, Peggy
