O
Outlook User
By default, outlook 2003 saves sent mail to a folder called "Sent
Mail". This makes sense if you are not storing sent messages on a
server. However, I use an IMAP account, and store all mail - both
saved and sent - on an IMAP server so that I can access it easily from
any machine with an IMAP client. Outlook has no problem with
accessing my IMAP folders. However, I can't get it to save a copy of
my sent mail in the sent-mail directory on my IMAP server. Outlook
Express is able to do this by checking "Store special folders on IMAP
server", and giving Outlook Express the name of my sent-mail folder in
the Sent Items path text box. Mozilla Thunderbird and Pine can all do
this with no problem. I can't find any way to do it in Outlook 2003
though. How can I do this in Outlook 2003?
Microsoft Outlook team: if you're reading this, this is a show stopper
for me!
Thanks!
