Saving scans of receipts for insurance

Can you invoke a shortcut, batch file or send-to that would scan an
image on the scanner and send it to a file with say insurance 01-02 etc
with the date?

I keep receipts but I also keep backup of "my docs." Having a
automated scan would make this very easy.

You may be interested in a feature that the latest version of Quicken (2006)
has. It lets you scan bills, receipts, etc, and attach them to items in the
check register. This should be much more convenient than what you are
suggesting.

Microsoft Money may have a similar feature, but I don't know.
