Saving PPT Setting for Printing Selected Slides?

H

OK, here's a good one!

We're trying to create a hybrid print/electronic presentation.
Is there a way to save the settings on a PPT document to print only
certain slides?

We want to distribute it, so the selected slides to print are already
in the settings.

Here's the thing.
We have animations (with action buttons, etc) followed by the separate
build slides of the same thing (for print).

That way, when you view the presentation, the "build slides for print"
are hidden, and the animation shows..
And when you print, the "animated" slides won't print.

Got that?

Any help much appreciated!

The distribution part is what botches up the ability to do this as you
describe.

If you knew that the end user would be using the full version of PowerPoint,
you could easily create a macro to print the desired pages, but VBA macros
do not work when using the viewer.
