I noticed that when I save a picture to a folder in IE7, if it opens in
another window when I do a second one onwards I have to keep pointing it to
my saved folder, But if I disable UAC it remembers it all the time I have
The IE7 browser open. Does anyone have an answer to this problem as I would
hate to disable UAC just for this as I have come to getting use to it being
on.
Many thanks.

Not sure what you are asking about. Internet Explorer 7 doesn't have folders.
It is your browser. Windows Explorer shows you the folders on your hard
drive. If you are trying to download from the Internet, make a Download
folder on your C drive and pick that for the next download in the Save in
box. IE7 will remember that folder next time. Then all your downloads will be
in the same place. You can move what you want to diff folders.

The answer to your question is yes I am talking about saving pictures off
the internet to a folder and not IE7 default folder my own folder on my D
drive. If the pictures open in a different browser each time it does not
remember the folder I pointed the first one too etc.
This only happens when UAC is on, If it is disabled it remembers the folder
all the time a browser is open.
