Saving Passwords in IE7

When logging onto a Website (PayPal, Amazon, eBay, etc.) with
password-protected areas _for the first time_, IE will ask, "Do you want to
save this log-in name and password?" If you say, "No," it will not ask
again. My experience is that even clearing cookies and history has no effect
on this.

Is there a way to re-activate the password-request function so that IE can
be made to ask for the information once more? This would be useful when a
site turns out to be a useful one on second thought.
