Saving or Opening in Active Directory

We have a Windows 2000 Domain SP3 with Active Directory
Installed. I am trying to open a file located in Active
Directory. I can get to Network Places, Directory icon,
and then then domain name, and then the Organizational
Unit but then it is blank. The folders under the OU are
not showing up. If I browse through the directory in
Windows Explorer, they are there and I can open the file.
It doesn't matter whether I'm logged in with Admin rights
to the domain or just a normal user. Any ideas?

In the Open Dialogue screen try changing the File Type to
All Files.

I tried that and still no folders! This only happens in
Word and Excel. Not Windows Explorer. Weird!
