saving new task

Every time I try to create and save a new task I get the following error
message in a pop up window.

"Please save this task by clicking Save Task Order on the Actions menu in
the "Tasks" folder. The view must not be filtered or grouped for Save Task
Order to be available. Could not complete the operation. One or more
parameters are not valid."

I can however change and save existing tasks. This issue has migrated from
one computer to another. I just had a different laptop imaged but once I
downloaded my data it started happening. (didn't try it prior).

I have tried this on and off line and get same error.

HELP!

Did you get to try the directions? (Go to Tasks, go to the Actions menu, and
select Save Task Order?)

If that doesn't work, go to Start->Run, type in "Outlook /cleanviews" and
click OK

The Save Task Order does NOT show up in the Actions menu. The ONLY save I
can find is under the File heading. Also, I had the IT person look at it and
he supposedly went thru to check and make sure there were NO groupings or
filters enabled. I tried to do the same but am a novice

I'd try the /cleanviews switch then.
