saving movie project into a recordable CD

i make a movie project consisting of pictures from a digital cam and added
some ripped music into it to liven it up. the problem is when i try to save
my project into a recordable CD, i always get the message that "a recordable
CD was not detected" even if theres one. How can i save my movie to a
recordable CD?
