Saving macro

My mom created a macro in Word 2000 and sent me a blank document with the
macro in it. How do I now save the macro so that I can use it? I've tried
saving the blank document as a .dot file and a .doc file, but I'm not seeing
the macro in the Macro Organizer.

Kristie,

Just have Mom send the macro as plain text in a document file. Copy the
macro text into your macro project. See:

Thanks for the info and the link. My mom updated the macro (was about 4yrs
old) and then sent me the text and then I did as instructed and it worked
fine.
