saving instant messages and conversations

i want to save the messages and conversations that i send and receive. how
can i set my computer to do that? it's easier for me to save all, and delete
the ones i'm done with.

In the upper right hand corner, you'll see FILE. Click on Save As.

Greetings,

Windows Live Messenger (and previous versions of MSN Messenger starting with version 6) can
do this by clicking the Tools menu, then Options, then Messages category/tab.

If you're using Windows Messenger (and prefer not to change your software), you can use
Messenger Plus (http://old.msgplus.net) to automatically save conversations for you.
