Saving Images on Internet Explorer 6

I am 'right clicking' on images while using IE6 and selecting 'Save As' from the menu. All of a sudden (Tonight) I can not save any image that has a .jpg extension. I am only permitted to save this image as a .bmp which is not ideal.

I have tried racking my brain for an answer. I have tried many images on many sites and they all do the same. Incidently the images that I am copying are from a source that I have permission for and the images have not been protected in any way.

That can usually be fixed by deleting the Temporary Internet Files cache.
